Kaskade fans, it’s that time of year again. Out now is Redux 003 Deluxe and it includes three new songs and two remixes. This comes added to the already iconic 18 track EP released on Arkade. Like most of us know, these sets have been integral for Ryan for years. His underground house sets are nothing short of spectacular.
Your Additional Tracks
‘Ruckus (Lokii Remix) takes the original track ‘Tight‘ and mixes it with ‘Ruckus‘, creating a new mashup that we haven’t heard of before. I think it’s great that we are seeing this on the EP. ‘No One Else‘ features TELYKast and is sultry and soothing. It is perfect for having the lights down low and holding your significant other to.
‘Lose Control‘ combines elements of some dubstep bass and house music. This makes sense because it is collaborated on with BROHUG. It’s a totally different vibe, but perfect for mixing things up in the redux. Then comes ‘Still Waiting‘, a melodic and progressive track with angelic vocals that make you sway. There is lots of emotion in this one. ‘More (Diplo Remix)‘ turns the daytime funk song into a sultry night jam, as Kaskade puts it. It’s a killer take on his original track featuring Felix Cartal.
What is Redux?
Redux (re-doo) is Kaskade’s homage to nights spent in small clubs. More staggering sound and less lighting. Giving off a throwback feel of music he has produced, now you can experience his own genre of music.
Constantly on the road touring, Raddon is also extending his tour across the US. This redux sound is just getting too big and now he is here to hypnotize us further. Going up until mid-November, will you be able to catch him? He already played a stellar redux set at CRSSD music festival in San Diego. Check out his redux show at the Grand Park, in Downtown Los Angeles, on Sunday November 10th. Tickets go on sale Friday, October 4th at 12pm PST.
