Armin van Buuren feat. Ne-Yo – Unlove You
Armin van Buuren is continuing his rapid release of tracks from his upcoming album Balance. His newest song features a collaboration we didn’t know we needed, but very happy we got. ‘Unlove You’ features vocals from Ne-Yo as the two of them explore the despair of a breakup. Each of them brings a completely different vibe, but Armin effortlessly meshes their individual styles.
A slick groovy club beat guides the beginning of the track as Ne-Yo’s silky, smooth vocals take it over. It sounds like a true classic R&B Ne-Yo song but with a sweet dance twist on it. Right before the minute mark comes in Armin works his magic onto the beat and we get a majestic drop. He had this to say about the track:
“Part of the beauty of having no limitations at all in the studio is that I get to work with the most talented people no matter what ‘genre’ they’re in, and NE-YO is no exception.”
For the past few weeks, Armin has been dropping songs from his much anticipated Balance album. With an October 25th release date, this album is as diverse, if not more so, than his past work. It feels like he has produced every genre there is.
