Octopus Recordings label boss Sian has just released his latest EP, ‘Ultraviolet 2.0’. The EP is released on Mau5trap records, a testament to Sian’s steady rise in the techno sphere.
Following the success of ‘Ultraviolet 1.0’, Sian is back again to satisfy his fans. ‘Ultraviolet 2.0’ further showcases Sian’s ability to melt dark, industrial techno and turn it to magic. Each track has an evolving style of acid sounds, a showcase Sian element. His ever evolving sounds flow throughout each track with his implementation of acid sounds and varying sound design techniques.
The first track of ‘Ultraviolet 2.0’ kicks the EP off in style. ‘Planets’ features a massive bassline and a pleasingly odd and eerie melody. Nevertheless, the must listen to track is ‘Nitro’. ‘Nitro’ has an oozing, dark experimental vibe which really showcases this EP.
