With a big scale music festival like Lollapalooza, there’s bound to be break in attempts from fans who don’t have tickets. Recently, there has been a viral video showing a crowd of people hopping and crashing the outside wall to get in. If you were inspired by the fence jumping video, it’s time to kill the thought. None of the fence jumpers made it into the festival due to security and the elaborate festival ground layout. Although the guy with the prosthetic leg did get in, other people will reportedly get charged with criminal trespass.
The attempt of sneaking into the music festival seemed successful on video but none of the jumpers actually made it in. With an arrest and criminal charge as the punishment, hopping the fence isn’t worth it. It’s a much better idea to buy a ticket than risk these consequences.
