DJ Snake Announces New Album and Release Date

DJ Snake fans won’t have to wait much longer to hear the DJ’s sophomore album. July 26th is the release date for his second album, Carte Blanche.

In the Facebook post announcement, DJ Snake said he wants the album to fuel listener’s summer fun.

“May this be the soundtrack to your summer 19 and every summer after that. The Facebook post reads.

Carte Blanche will be DJ Snake’s second album, following his first album ‘Encore’ in 2016. Encore featured the hits “Middle”, “Talk” and “Let Me Love You”. Encore topped the Billboard Dance/Electronic Albums chart on August 26th, 2016.

The Carte Blanche release date is a sigh of relief for some fans. DJ Snake has been teasing the coming of his second album since May of 2018.

A rumored tracklist of the album was released in early July. Many of the songs in the picture feature huge collaborations. If the tracklist is true, listeners can expect features from Zhu, Tchami, Malaa, Mercer and more.

In addition to the completion of the album, DJ Snake has been steadily releasing tracks. His most recent release, ‘Loco Contino’ features the likes of J. Balvin and Tyga.

DJ Snake is hitting the festival circuit hard this year and will likely incorporate more of the new album in upcoming sets. His schedule includes Tomorrowland, Amnesia, EDC Korea, and Ultra Japan in the next two months.
