Out now is something we’ve anticipated from Above & Beyond’s #3 Billboard-charting album ‘Common Ground’. ‘Sahara Love‘ features the lovely vocals of Zoe Johnston and right here, is Jason Ross’s remix of the track.
Ross updates this piece for the dance floor and is no stranger to the art of remixes. Whereas the original had a sun-soaked groove, Jason brings it up to speed with his trance/progressive house edit. His signature drop makes the song that much more emotional. Zoe’s angelic voice gives it such an enchanting feel; we just may see this played live.
Since his humble beginnings in 2011 and discovery in 2013, Jason transcended his work into beautiful trance music we love. During Above & Beyond’s ABGT300 set at Hong Kong’s Asia-Expo, Jason returned to his four-to-the-floor roots. He has even hit us with a string of well-received, bass-heavy departures on Seven Lions’ Ophelia imprint.
This month, A&B return to The Gorge Amphitheater for their Group Therapy Weekender festival. This event gathers talent from their Anjunabeats & Anjunadeep labels, including Ross, to the iconic Washington State venue. Taking place on July 27th-28th, get tickets here.
