Belgium’s VestiVille Festival is Fyre Festival: Europe

VestiVille Festival in Belgium was abruptly cancelled on Friday, the first day of the festival weekend. The event featured big names including Cardi B, A$AP Rocky, Future, Migos, Ja Rule and more. However, when festival attendees had arrived on camp grounds on Friday, the cancellation was announced last minute. Attendees reported being unable to leave campgrounds for hours and there were no food or water provided. Everything was hectic due to the disorganization and lack of communication.

On top of all the memes being created comparing Vestiville with Fyre Festival, some people also took to digging into the truth. Although it’s not yet confirmed whether the festival was a scam, it’s still important to look into the reliability of the producers as well as the people and companies behind events before attending. Oh yeah and JA RULE was booked to perform!

As if that wasn’t enough of comparison, look at this promo video for “Vestivillas” which sounds like a parody of Fyre Festival, complete with Cardi B impersonator.


People traveled far and wide for the promised lineup. On top of the ticket costs, they’ve spend lots of money for travel and housing. A part of what they paid for won’t be reimbursed. So hopefully VestiVille will at least refund to fans the costs related to the festival.
