Sunny Lax – Sheeverz / Alliance
Sunny Lax just released two tracks, ‘Sheeverz’ and ‘Alliance’ on Above & Beyond‘s Anjunabeats label. Sunny’s latest release was a 303 remix of his own collaboration with Ilan Bluestone, ‘43+86=129‘ off Scars (Remixed).
The first track off the double release, ‘Sheeverz‘, is a bright and pulsating dance track. After the intro subsides, spacious and underwater-esque plucks and synths prevail. The track starts to build up by getting brighter and larger, adding a fetching melody. It finally breaks into a big chorus, elegantly combining all the sounds in a way which makes them stand out within the production. The latter track ‘Alliance‘ differentiates from Sheeverz by sounding a lot heavier on the bass side. The track kicks off with large kicks, encompassing bass and sound, with the melody coming through towards the end of the intro. As the track persists, it quiets down as the melody shines and become brighter, building into the expansive chorus.
