Insomniac’s most anticipating March event, Beyond Wonderland is quickly approaching. As we lead up to the festival, we took a look at the history of Beyond Wonderland. Insomniac has enhanced Beyond Wonderland since its inception 9 years ago.
The infamous NOS Events Center in San Bernardino has been one of Beyond Wonderland’s Southern California homes since the birth of the festival. In 2010 Insomniac expanded their festival madness and created Beyond Wonderland. In 2013, Beyond Wonderland was temporary relocated to the San Manuel Amphitheater, which is now where Insomniac hosts their September festival, Nocturnal. Throughout the years, Beyond Wonderland has been back and fourth between the San Manuel Amphitheater, and the NOS Events Center.
Beyond Wonderland has 5 gigantic stages such as Queen’s Domain, Mad Hatters Castle, Caterpillar’s Garden, Cheshire Woods, and Beyond Wench. All stages are perfect for moving and grooving. The festival also offers shuttles for attendees to make transportation easier than ever.
Taking it back to the first Beyond Wonderland trailer, the festival has been through massive changes. Throughout the years, Insomniac has done an amazing job at keeping a similar Alice In Wonderland theme to the festival.
We’ve attached the first ever trailer of the sold out 2010 event below for festival attendees to check out where all the madness came from. As we enter a new realm of dance music; it is important to know where the festival originated.
