Another day another cryptic Swedish House Mafia Instagram post; a few hours ago Steve Angello posted this to his Instagram story.
Adding fuel to the fire both Axwell & Ingrosso (Steve too) changed their Instagram profile pictures to a blank white which is seemingly a reference to the iconic three dot logo of the Swedish super-group. What could “DAY 1” mean? is it a countdown to new music? or the 2019 World Tour announcement? Fans have been waiting with baited breath for any sort of news since their Ultra Miami reunion show, but details have been largely scare and cryptic.
However, rest assured the Swedish House Mafia is most defiantly back and is here to stay. As in Axwell’s own words:
“And this time, Swedish House Mafia is for life!”
Couple that with Axwell /\ Ingrosso hinting at a hiatus for their duo project and Steve Angello confirming a Tomorrowland performance, the hype is all but increasing. As it is 2019 is all set to be the year of the Swedish House Mafia, and they look all set to usher in a new age of EDM.
With all the build-up and hype, we definitely can’t wait for their next performance. Tickets are sure to sell out quick so keep your eyes peeled for updates on Tomorrowland 2019.
