Adult Swim Festival Will Feature 37-Piece Rick & Morty Orchestra

The Adult Swim Festival is set to debut this year for the first time and is looking to bring to Downtown LA three nights full of comedy, music and more. With 42 musical and comedy performers set to take the stage over the 3 days there’s no better way to bring their edgy humor, jagged art and mashed-up culture to the masses.

However, fans of Rick and Morty may have noticed an interesting act set to make it’s debut in the lineup in the form of the “Rick And Morty Musical Ricksperience“. While many were wondering exactly what that meant, Adult Swim went ahead and revealed it to be a performance from a 37-piece orchestra and stated what to expect for this act in a press release.

“For the first time ever, see composer Ryan Elder (The man behind Rick and Morty‘s music) and some very special guests bring your favorite Rick and Morty songs to life in melodic harmony in sync with an episode. There’s going to be an actual orchestra, with trombones and stuff.”

With the show in the works for a 4th season, this is without a doubt a great way to get fans even more excited about Rick and Morty.

Other comedy and musical performers set to perform at the Adult Swim Festival this year include, Run the Jewels, Shigeto, Clams Casino, Com Truise and Flying Lotus’ Brainfeeder label showcase with Dorian Concept, Flying Lotus in 3D, Georgia Anne Muldrow, Hannibal Buress and Thundercat.

The festival is set to take place October 5-7 in Row DTLA in Los Angeles with ticket now available at this link! Whether you’re a fan of all things Adult Swim, Music, Comedy or Rick and Morty, this is one festival you won’t want to miss!
