Claude Vonstroke’s Dirtybird label has garnered quite the attention this year. After saving it’s Dirtybird Campout East from nearly shutting down, fans have been curious to see if any changes would be made to the west coast edition. Adding more to the suspense was the news that the partnership between Do Lab and Dirtybird would be ending. Now, comes the big announcement that Dirtybird Campout West is moving to another location.
Don’t Worry folks, the new location is still staying in California. The event will take place at the Modesto Reservoir Campgrounds which is about 3 and half hours away from the previous San Antonio location. This location is more central for California natives with Oakland (and it’s international airport) being 2 hours away and Los Angeles being a 5 hours below.
Listed on the official Dirtybird Campout Website are a few reasons the new venue is better which includes access to drinkable/swimmable reservoir water, campground amenities, a more intimate layout and more.
Dirtybird Campout West will take place October 4-7 with an Earlybird Flash Sale for tickets happening June 15th at 10AM PDT. Stay tuned for more updates as the event has yet to unveil this year’s lineup and activities.
