Bay Area residents and Desert Hearts fans, we’re betting that you’ve joined us on the dance floor at Public Works on many occasions for the numerous City Hearts events – legendary nights put on by the Desert Hearts crew that kept things bumping until the wee morning hours. Well, in case you haven’t heard – the motley crew of talented musicians is back and have one-upped their game entirely, with the first City Hearts Festival San Francisco hitting The Great Northern this Sunday, June 10th.

The crew will be taking over the entire block in front of The Great Northern – a venue whose past block parties have included It’s A New Day and Pink Mammoth’s annual summertime soiree – for a day-into-night affair that will feature the notorious DH tech house beats, art installations, theme camps, food and much more.

And, of course, the musical lineup never fails to impress us: DH crew members Mikey Lion, Porky (formerly known as Porkchop), Marbs, Lee Reynolds and Andreas Henneberg will be rocking the decks, along with local heroes Rachel Torro, Benjamin K, Iwata, B Rose and Snee.

Three stages, nine hours, and all of the Desert Hearts love you could imagine – they’re kicking things off starting at noon on Sunday.

Don’t sleep on this – come out and dance! Grab your tickets here.
