Above and Beyond – Always (SLANDER Remix)
Above and Beyond are known for their epic buildups, gorgeous vocals and the large volume of remixes on their album tracks. The melodic progression and heartfelt words of their songs make it easy and desirable to produce a remix. And now SLANDERÂ has reworked one of the British trance trio’s newest songs, ‘Always‘.
A&B purists may not be happy with the trappy bass treatment that Slander delivers. But their proclaimed “heaven trap” style seems like it fits best for a non-trance remix. In fact, most of the song consists of a melodic breakdown. It only drops into euphoric trap for short bursts. And even though most die-hard Above and Beyond fans probably abhor the idea of a trap remix, it’s hard to deny the quality of Slander’s production.
