Now that it’s May, the reunion of Swedish House Mafia seems like a distant memory. Did it really happen, and was it really a one-off? Since they took the stage that Sunday we haven’t heard anything besides a call to buy merch. The general wisdom believed that more SHM was in store, and now we have some concrete evidence of that.
Just today Sebastian Ingrosso posted a tantalizing event poster on his Instagram Story. Doing a little research the venue is a quaint garden restaurant in Sweden called Krusmyntagarden. Google did not turn up any information about this promoter, Fresh Entertainment, but the billing speaks for itself. Axwell Ingrosso, Seinabo Sey, and Swedish House Mafia are listed at some sort of event. Could it be a residency event of some kind, or perhaps a full day event. We see there is a resident DJ, Magnus The Magnus, but that’s all we know. As of 10pm EST the post is still up on Ingrosso’s story, so they aren’t afraid of this.
One thing is for sure, if this is a performance it will be as intimate and hometown-y as you could possibly imagine. The place is literally a Swedish garden, so if anything this will be like a throwback to the earliest days of SHM. Only time will tell.
