Seven Lions x Tritonal x Kill the Noise – Horizon
After a long wait, the star-studded collaboration between melodic dubstep producer Seven Lions, house veterans Tritonal and dubstep producer Kill the Noise has finally landed. ‘Horizon’ is a heavenly ride featuring vocals from Haliene.
Seven Lions’ strong and cinematic melodies open the track creating an urgent atmosphere, into the first laid back drop. The bridge between the first drop and the second is pure Kill the Noise. Fun syncopated chords and rhythms brings us back to the second drop, a drum and bass feeling drop influence by Kill the Noise again, with dubstep growls jumping into the background.
Nothing but respect for Seven Lions, who has been pushing the envelope for his melodic dubstep sounds. Known for staying off the mic at concerts and letting his music do the talking, Jeff Montalvo recently began the Ophelia label to compliment his music, with three tracks released through it already.
Kill the Noise was recently a part of a crazy collab with Illenium and Mako, ‘Don’t Give Up on Me‘. It has been three years since his debut album Occult Classic, hopefully the increase in singles is a sign of more music to come.
