2017 was a big year for many dance music artists, including the Chainsmokers. And while you may have mixed feelings on the DJ duo turned live band, The Chainsmokers certainly had a successful year. They released their debut album Memories…Do Not Open, and sold out the US leg of their tour of the same name. As 2018 begins, the duo is set to embark on the European leg of the same tour, and are also teasing a rebranded logo for the new year.
As the duo gets started on their 2018 adventures, they updated their Instagram profile picture (see below) with a haunting updated bio simply reading, “How many likes is my life worth?” One thing we do know is that the duo plans to release new music this year, so perhaps this rebrand is hinting at a new sound they’re hoping to roll out. Whatever it may be, look for The Chainsmokers do make their presence known in 2018.
