Habstrakt made his mark this year after releasing one of the biggest songs of 2017, ‘Chicken Soup’ with Skrilex. Borrowing elements from both bass and house, the French DJ has made stunning productions that have earned him the support of DJ Snake, Destructo, Zeds Dead, and more. 2018 holds even more promise for him as he accompanies Destructo on his Let’s Be Friends Tour. But French DJs have proved to be even more dominating than ever as Dombresky is emerging as a prominent future house producer. Now the two have combined the best of French musical talent in the fire track ‘ANTIGONE‘.
Out Now on Mad Decent Records is funky track ‘ANTIGONE’. By juxtaposing the darkness of future bass with the lightness of future house, the two French producers have made one unique addictive track. They’ve added in some sultry synth chords and vocal samples, giving the song depth and musicality.
On speaking of the track Habstrakt has said,
“‘Antigone’ is our first time actually working together after years of knowing each other, it’s a groovy and subby organ-fuelled house beat and also a hint at Montpellier, the city in south of France where we both originate from.”
