On the eve of their performance at Insomniac’s Dreamstate Mexico trance festival, trance duo Aly & Fila made the announcement that they must withdraw from the event. Sadly, Aly’s father passed away although we do not know the cause at this time. Needless to say, Aly needed to return to Egypt to be with his family. Fadi, the other half of the duo, pledged to stand alongside his friend and go to Egypt with Aly during this tough time.
Dreamstate updated their fans and sent their love to Aly & Fila while announcing that Sander van Doorn’s Purple Haze will step up to fill in the place left by the legendary duo. Dreamstate Mexico officially kicks off tomorrow with other artists like Andrew Rayel, Vini Vici, Paul van Dyk, Chris Schweizer and more.
