Robert Miles, born as Roberto Concina was a Swiss-born Italian DJ and producer who passed away on May 9th, 2017 at the age of 47 in Ibiza, Spain. He sadly had a lengthy battle with stage 4 metastatic cancer.

To honor Miles’s death – the electronic dance music industry is trying to get one of his most classic tracks, titled ‘Children’, back into the charts.

To join in on the campaign to get “Children” back into the charts, all you need you to do is login to iTunes or Spotify to either buy the track or stream it. One of Miles’s closest friends, Joe T Vannelli, told DJ Mag Italia that he was “incredulous and upset” in regards to hearing about his friend’s death.

He also noted:
“I will miss the fights, brawls, criticism, judgements but especially your talent in finding sounds and melodies unparalleled.”

The history of Miles’s track ‘Children’ is quite substantial – it was first released in Italy on January 1st, 1995 and didn’t chart. After that, he rereleased the track in November 1995 and it went on to become certified Gold and Platinum and reached #1 in more than 12 countries!

Be sure to give ‘Children’ a listen on Spotify or iTunes and help make sure that this classic gets back in the charts one more time!
