Gorillaz – Andromeda (ZHU Remix)
The Gorillaz have drummed up some serious buzz with their album Humanz. The album drops April 28th and has everyone waiting in anticipation. Helping with that wait is ZHU who blesses us his own version of ‘Andromeda‘. The artist is known for his own brand of mystery he brings to his music and there is no shortage of it in this remix.
The way the remix plays out makes the original seem like it was made for ZHU. The vocals of the original fuses flawlessly with the eerie flair that he brings to the table. The upbeat tempo of the original along with a massive bassline allows him to craft the song into his own. Once the song reaches the breakdown, the listener is blessed with ZHU’s signature falsetto along with clean and atmospheric synths. As a result, the song carries the familiarity of being a ZHU track. When he remixes a song, he always makes it unique. He has a great track record so far and adds another song with this remix.
