Richie Hawtin Will Debut New Show ‘CLOSE’ At Coachella

closeFor those who have never been able to see Richie Hawtin perform, you are about to have the opportunity to see a one-of-a-kind performance by one of the most formidable names in techno. Hawtin announced that he will debut his new experimental show, CLOSE- Spontaneity & Synchronicity at Coachella and bring the 75 minute experience to festivals all over the world.

CLOSE is a show that tackles an ever present topic in this day and age, the relationship of man vs machine. Taking it one step further, Hawtin will explore how man, music and machine can successfully work together. Using live feed cameras to project abstract images of himself, modular synths, sound boards and more onto the screen so that audiences can immerse themselves in this electrifying live performance. Richie Hawtin has always been one to stretch the boundaries in music and music technology, which will make CLOSE one of the most impressive audio-visual demonstrations to date.
