Behind every solid track is a solid producer – that’s how the music industry has worked, and always will work. We can always rely on the fact that there are people out there with unimaginable talent and capabilities to make an array of musical musings we learn to love and appreciate. Brian Tyler, also known as Madsonik, is no exception.

This California-native producer has touched everything from music scores to the stages and has even had his remix of Tom Morello and X Ambassadors’ track “Collide” chosen by ESPN to be their College Football Bowl Games Anthem. He’s also written scores for films including The Avengers: Age of Ultron, Fast and Furious 7, Iron Man 3, and the upcoming Fast and Furious 8, just to name a few.

As we move into 2017, Madsonik has his eyes on a new prize, as he is making his way from movie-scorer to a headlining DJ and producer. His thoughts on the shift:

The crossover process from working on film scores to electronic music is really interesting creatively for me. On one hand, the differences between composing for an orchestra and laying down beats may seem massive but both forms of music strive to achieve the same thing – transporting the listener to another place emotionally and making something sonically exciting and memorable.”

As one of the first big steps in his move into the electronic music world, just yesterday Madsonik released two new tracks that are also featured in the film”xXx: The Return of Xander Cage”. The first is titled “Divebomb”, featuring Kill The Noise and Tom Morello. When asked about this release, here’s what Tyler had to say:

“It was so crazy working with Tom Morello and Kill the Noise! Tom Morello has been a guitar god hero of mine since I bought my first Rage Against the Machine record so it was an absolute thrill working with him. And my good friend and collaborator Kill the Noise never ceases to amaze me with his drive and innovation that he brings to everything he tackles. Plus we just have a blast working on tunes together. It was a dream team!”

The second track, “Take It To The Top”, is also featured in the film, as well as on the soundtrack, which is available today.

Keep an eye out for what’s coming next from this producer – it’ll be big – and give his newest tracks a listen below.
