Maroon 5‘s collaboration with Kendrick Lamar may have been released in early October, but it carries all the wonderful summer vibes that many of us long for during the winter. Although the popular group is labeled as a pop rock band, “Don’t Wanna Know” definitely carries hints of tropical house used in this production.
Naturally, the electronic music world took notice of this and decided to recreate it from many different perspectives. Most notably, Dash Berlin used his tried-and-true style to breathe life into the track. Amplifying the beats and melody of the original song, the veteran producer made the song even more unforgettable with his remix. It is no surprise that the original melody was boosted to accompany a crowd full of EDM fans. From one industry big wig to another, it is great to see these artists collaborating with each other and representing the best of their respective genres.
