What can be said about The Weeknd that hasn’t already been said? Amazing vocalist, incredible stage presence, and a style that’s paving the way for up and coming artists. Enter Kygo. A trailblazer in his own right, however, in the realm of chilled out tropical vibes. Both artists have been insanely successful on their own, however, when Kygo gets his hand on a track from The Weeknd, it’s pure magic.
A few years ago, Kygo remixed, “Often” to give us a new take on the slow jam. It was outstanding. Today, he’s remixed one of The Weeknd’s latest tracks, “Starboy”. The original was produced with Daft Punk and delivers swanky, retro vibes. And now, Kygo has given us a more chilled out version that’s just as good as the original. At this point, we can only hope that Kygo and The Weeknd get together in the studio to produce something that would no doubt be flawless. Until then, check out Kygo’s remix of “Starboy”.
