Recent LA import, PHIL GOOD, is making his debut with a retrospective thriller, “Sleeping In.” The former DRESSES band member has decided to take his previous indie-pop dream sound into a more dance music-centric territory, and we couldn’t be more pleased with the result. Produced alongside Cheat Codes member/friend Trevor Dahl, “Sleeping In” delivers a hypnotic arrangement of hazy and seductive rhythms made up of deep chord strums, lively rippling beats, and Jared Maldonado’s vivid lyricism.
