The 2016 edition of EDC Orlando is set to take place on Friday, November 4th and Saturday, November 5th, at its usual location, Tinker Field. The event lineup has been out for quite some time now and features names familiar from the other concerts in the Electric Daisy Carnival festival series like Above and Beyond, Axwell, Bassnectar, Chocolate Puma, Hardwell, Jauz, Porter Robinson, RL Grime and more. On top of the big-name artists, Insomniac is also featuring local artists each day of the event – a great way for these smaller artists to gain a large amount of exposure in one area.
Earlier this week Insomniac released the daily lineups for the events. Friday will feature performances by Above and Beyond, The Chainsmokers, Borgeous, Cosmic Gate, Ephwurd, W&W, Yellow Claw, and more. The local acts for Friday are Edgar V and Sean Drake. Saturday features DJs including Allison Wonderland, Axwell, Bassnectar, Dash Berlin, Don Diablo, Hardwell, Jauz, Mark Knight B2B Chus & Ceballos, Porter Robinson and RL Grime with local acts Carlos Mendoza and Jose Estrada performing as well.
It’s safe to say that both days of EDC Orlando are stacked to the gills with talent. Both feature older artists and artists that just recently have blown up in the dance music scene. Comment below and let us know which day you think is better!
