Hudson Mohawke’s classic, ‘Chimes‘, has received the remix treatment from countless producers. It’s catchy hook, strong bassline, and signature drop make it a memorable track, surely for years to come. Now, the two buzzing producers Alexander Lewis and Y2K are taking a shot at the track. Through some production magic, the duo are able to take this already banging track and make it even bangier. By throwing in some new horns, switching up that fat bassy melody, and speeding up the closed-snare, the two are able to maintain all of what makes the original so great, while simultaneously creating an entirely new track that goes just as hard as the original.
