WILL K – Hakai
The hot-streak from Australian talent WILL K keeps gaining more and more momentum. For 2016, he has already released a top quality free download entitled ‘Back To Life’, collaborated with Corey James on ‘Another Storm’, which set a label record on Release Records, whilst also unveiling an official remix for Hip-Hop star Flo Rida. Now, WILL K turns his attentions to Sander Van Doorn’s ‘DOORN Records’ imprint, to unleash ‘Hakai’, which is available today.
‘Hakai’ opens up via an escalating intro, which leads into a drop built upon a bouncy bass and rhythmic drum patters. As the track progresses, the break unfolds to reveal a tribal vocal layered over steel pan break-beats, before a snare-driven lead pierces through for a final dose of festival-ready beats. With support from headliners including Axwell ^ Ingrosso, Martin Garrix, Nicky Romero and Steve Angello, expect to hear ‘Hakai’ a lot over the summer!
