BitTorrent TV is dabbling in the music world, as it announced Clubbing TV for BitTorrent Live, the platform’s multichannel video streaming app. The unveiling of BitTorrent Live, which occurred at the International Television Expo, demonstrates the platform’s entrance into streaming and will be released this week. The app, which will be available for Apple TV this week and launch on Android and iOS in June, allows every viewer to become a broadcast.
The app will feature both pre-taped programming and live streaming via the platform’s patented peer-to-peer model. BitTorrent also announced that Clubbing TV will be the official media partner for festivals including Tomorrowland and Ultra Music Festival.
