Every month, Solé Bicycles joins forces with some of their favorite artists for their renowned Fixtape mix series. Everyone from Dr. Fresch, to Oliver, to Autograf has taken over the Fixtape series, and this week, the bicycle boys from Venice Beach, CA have enlisted the Boston-bred house and techno duo Soul Clap for the 49th episode of Fixtape.
The four-hour Fixtape is a recording of the duo’s set from the Crew Love party during Winter Music Conference at South Beach’s Electric Pickle. The mix opens with experimental industrial, 80s disco and funk, and Soul Clap’s signature house and techno before delving into the deeper, weirder regions of dance music in the second half. As the mix wraps up, you’ll hear some funk-filled dance floor cuts from duo. Check out the mix below.
