Mysteryland USA has delivered a matchless festival experience in the past couple years with its unique collection of performers, art installations, interactive exhibits, and more. Located on the same grounds that the Woodstock ’69 affair took place, the 3-day event in Bethel, New York will take place on June 10th-13th and features a diversified lineup of artists like ODESZA, Skrillex, Bassnectar, Zeds Dead, Claude Vonstroke, Gesaffelstein, and many more.

While the festival’s lineup continues to grow and cultivate into a unique collection of artists from every genre, the stages of Mysteryland have always excited attendees with their impressive designs, visuals, and sound systems. A fan favorite – the Boat Stage – returns this year to bring back its signature roster of hip-hop, future funk, bass and trap sounds. The stage has a long, celebrated history as one of Mysteryland’s staple stages. It first premiered at Holland’s Mysteryland festival in 2011, and since then has traveled around the world from The Netherlands to Chile, eventually making its debut at the initial Mysteryland USA festival in 2014.

Three years ago, the boat stage woo’d over MLUSA’s first-ever crowd with its picturesque design – an enormous wooden ship with butterflies as sails. The stage provided listeners with the finest bass and trap sounds with artists like Chase & Status, Zomboy, Paper Diamond, Big Gigantic, and a very special debut partnership of Dillon Francis and Flosstradamus aka Dillstradamus.

In 2015, the return of the Boat Stage supported a new design that was resonant of an industrial steamboat complete with a balcony for festival goers to dance on. Paired with Bro Safari’s animal house boat raid and a brave girl who jumped off the top story of the structure (she wasn’t hurt!), the stage proved to be one of the wilder places to be for the weekend. Trap, dubstep, and moombahton artists like FIGHT CLVB, TJR, Mystereo, Doctor P, and ILOVEMAKONNEN threw the dance floor into mayhem, while Gramatik and GRIZ formed into Grizmatik to bring their infectious funk on Saturday night.

This year’s model will be sure to impress the Mysteryland USA crowd once again thanks to a new dragon-style design. With more artist announcements to come in the upcoming weeks, Mysteryland’s third edition of the Boat Stage will be sure to remain the spot-to-be for this year’s festival.
