Kygo Announces New Radio Channel, Drops “I’m In Love”

In honor of the release of his debut album Cloud Nine, out on Friday, May 13 (uncanny timing much?), Kygo will have his own personal station for a limited time with Sirius XM – and he is excited, to say the least.

“I’m incredibly excited for my own Kygo Radio channel! SiriusXM has had my back ever since day one when I was making remixes in my dorm room at university, and it means a lot that they’re supporting my music as I prepare to release my debut album, Cloud Nine. I’ll be playing some of my favorite tracks from both the past and present, and most of all, I’m looking forward to playing brand new music from Cloud Nine. I can also promise a few surprises thrown in along the way, so tune in!”

Sirius XM’s Chill station was the first to play Kygo’s tracks, prior to his signing to any label, so it comes as no surprise that Kygo has returned to the home that gave him that first spotlight moment. In 2015, they named him as one of their “Breakthrough Artists of the Year.”

Kygo Radio will not only feature his own tracks but will also play a number of tracks that the artist has hand-picked, with familiar names such as Klingande and Thomas Jack gracing the track list.

To keep the show filled with surprises, at 6pm EST and PT each day, a new premiere or exclusive will debut – it may be a track from Hello Clouds, a new remix, or maybe even a piano recording of Kygo himself.

The show will air from Monday, May 9 to Friday, May 20 on channel 53 on satellite radio; you can also catch it on Sirius XM apps and online.

In addition to announcing his new radio show, Kygo also treated us with a new track today. Fans have been waiting for “I’m In Love” for quite some time now, making this particular SoundCloud upload an extra special one.
