Well it looks like we got tricked guys. All of the mysterious teasing from Calvin Harris and Taylor Swift around Coachella was a smokescreen to throw us off the trail. What was correct is that the Calvin Harris was teasing his next single. We were wrong about Taylor Swift being involved, and it appears Calvin is keeping his word to not let music come between them.
Today Calvin dropped the bomb that the next single would actually feature Rihanna and that it is called “This Is What You Came For“. This would be the first time the two have teamed up since their enormous “We Found Love”. That track was one of dance music’s biggest early breakthrough hits that catapulted Calvin Harris to the superstar status he holds today. To make it even better, the track is dropping this Friday. Looks like Zedd & Kesha isn’t the only huge EDM/pop collab making waves this week. As it turns out both of those big Coachella surprise appearances were foreshadowing new music.
