One of the coolest things about Miami Music Week is that literally every inch of the city becomes dedicated to dance music. You can experience it from the biggest of mainstages at Ultra to the megaclubs and the darker more intimate venues. In Miami’s Wynwood arts district, MAPS Backlot will be throwing down one of the best lineups of the week. The venue itself is really unique with its blend of urban and natural settings that will have you feeling like you’re in LA. On the biggest days of Miami Music Week, MAPS Backlot plans on hosting some of the coolest artists in the game so let’s dive in and explore 2 of the hottest events you should check out.
Thursday – Oliver Heldens & Friends w/ Special Guest Zeds Dead
The future house pioneer will not be at Ultra Music Festival this year, so one of your only chances to see him in Miami will be at this event. Not only that, but he’s bringing along plenty of other groovy artists like Martin Solveig, Ephwurd for his Miami debut, Michael Calfan, Chocolate Puma, Danny Howard, Drezo, and Throttle. Don’t sleep on this one.

Saturday – Luciano & Friends
For those on the deeper end of dance, Luciano is bringing out the heavy hitters for you to groove to. It wouldn’t be underground without an open to close vibe, and this event goes all day and late into the night for a full 12 hours. Luciano will be bringing along Art Department, Martin Buttrich, Cesar Marveille, Francesca Lombardo, and Julia Govor.
