Throughout the years, the industry’s biggest names have marked their territory. From festival anthems to underground vinyls, it would be difficult to pick a track that has more meaning to a generation than “Strobe by deadmau5. This week marks 6 years since Strobe was released as a single on Ultra Records, Virgin Records, and deadmau5’s personal label; mau5trap.

The song was first published in late 2009 on the album For Lack of a Better Name and was subsequently the second single on the record. In 2010, the track received official remixes by Michael Woods, Plump DJs, and DJ Marky & SPY. In addition to the tracks released on the single, “Strobe” has been remade, remixed, and redesigned by a countless number of producers and DJs. In 2012, deadmau5 released his 6th studio album > album title goes here < which contained an exclusive live release of the tune on its iTunes version.
