DJ EZ, the London-bred garage house master, took to his Facebook page today to announce that he will be playing a 24-hour set, with all proceeds going to Cancer Research UK. Alongside a moving video announcement, EZ detailed that the event will take place at 6 PM on February 27th, and fans can watch via a live stream on his website. The DJ also explained the motivation behind the event:

“I have reached a point in my career where I would like to give something back to those less fortunate than myself. Cancer affects countless people around the world which is why I have chosen to raise as much money as possible for Cancer Research UK.”

The Cancer Research UK event comes just a little over a month before DJ EZ’s sold out Brixton Academy show, on April 9th. For more information, be sure to check out DJ EZ’s Facebook page and watch the announcement video for yourself below.

I am delighted to announce that from 6pm on Saturday the 27th of February I will be performing a non-stop 24 hour live stream charity DJ Set with 100% of donations going to Cancer Research UK! #DJEZ24HourSet
