Isn’t it nice to see Joel Zimmerman, aka deadmau5, in the news for music and touring again? As his studio is finally finished, the creative juices are flowing and deadmau5 is ready to back on tour. For those loyal members of the horde who watch his hours of Twitch streaming, he had a pretty big surprise in store.
After what we can only assume was some harsh ribbing, he dropped the bomb that he would be announcing a “MAU5HAX” tour next week. The tour will be your standard bus tour starting in Toronto and ending in Miami (hopefully during MMW). He said there would be lots of stops in between and that the West Coast would be feeling some love later on.
In addition to this exciting announcement, deadmau5 has been teasing fans by posting clips of unfinished tracks. The first one was in the form of a video on Twitter.

For the next preview, Joel took to SoundCloud to post a track titled “Carp”.
Both of these tracks have us excited for deadmau5′ forthcoming album and we can only hope that these tracks will be played out on the MAU5HAX tour.
