The idea of working with artists outside of the EDM world is one that Sonny Moore is definitely familiar with. Skrillex has been doing this for quite some time now, collaborating with artists such as Ragga Twins, Pusha T, and The Doors. He also made a song with the popular K-pop stars G-Dragon from BIGBANG and CL of 2NE1 entitled “Dirty Vibe“. For his next collaboration, he is returning for more Korean flavor and recruiting the K-pop group 4minute.

When rumors first surfaced in regards to the two artists working together, photographs of the ladies of 4minute were uploaded via their Instagram accounts with Moore posing with them. As if that didn’t already give it away, it was officially stated when a division of The Korean Herald entitled Kpop Herald stated that the deal was pretty much done: “This album was collaborated with famous American DJ Skrillex for a unique track.” 4minute and Skrillex’s collaboration will be available February 1, as is when their new EP Act 7 will be out. To celebrate the forthcoming release, listen to “Dirty Vibe” below.
