Nina Las Vegas Announces Triple J Departure, Plans For Epic Final Show

Last week, Nina Las Vegas announced via Twitter that she would be stepping down as host of Triple J after more than ten years with the radio station. Known for her infamous triple j Mix Up Exclusives, she welcomed every big name DJ over the years including the likes of Diplo, RL Grime and Skrillex. Nina’s next step is to make a permanent move to the United States  where she will launch NLV Records and focus on her career as a DJ/producer.

With her final Triple J show looming on Saturday, it appears that the veteran host is planning to go out with a bang. She recently announced thru Facebook that Flume will be returning home to play her last show, as he once was a resident DJ for Mix Up Exclusives. While Flight Facilities and RL Grime are also confirmed to make appearances, we can assume that a slew of surprise guests are lined up for this momentous final show. Expect heaps of Australian DJs to pop in to wish the host farewell, and who knows, maybe we can expect a What So Not reunion (well, we can at least hope) as well. You will not want to miss this, so make sure to tune in Saturday!

In early 2012 Flume was a Resident DJ on Mix Up Exclusives. This Saturday he’s going to be on my final triple j show. Thank you Harley <3
