Kasbo – World Away

By now, almost everyone in the electronic music community has heard of Odesza, but what some people might not know is that the duo also has its own record label. A relatively new entity, Foreign Family Collective is described as a cross-genre label that “doesn’t adhere to any one genre or style but rather focuses on originality and genuine expression.”

The label, founded by Clayton Knight and Harrison Mills of Odesza, is also home to artists such as Jai Wolf, Big Wild, and the aforementioned Carl Garsbo, aka Kasbo. The Gothenburg native created an instrumental piece of art that feels reminiscent even upon first listening to the track. Similar to his past work, “World Away” is very ambient and great for laying back and relaxing. The song pairs well with Kasbo’s recently released Umbrella Club EP, which is something you should definitely check out. Take a listen to the divine new single below and be sure to catch him on tour with Odesza!
