Steve Angello‘s Wild Youth album has been in the making for years now. Embroiled in drama, the album was actually completed some time ago but delayed due to creative differences with the label concerning the promotional efforts. Steve went so far as to purchase the rights to his album back from the label and go independent for the release, before going silent for many months. Now, he’s back to confirm that Wild Youth will be released on November 20.
Along with this announcement, Steve finally released the music video for his latest single, Children of the Wild. An impressive visual feat, the video shows children running in slow motion through a dystopian war torn cityscape. Unbelievably, there has been no post production processing to achieve the slow motion effect as the video was shot at in .8 second scenes at 1000fps.
