BBC Worldwides Brings Us Trailer for Daft Punk Unchained [VIDEO]

Ever since the commotion caused by Daft Punk‘s surprise album in 2013 Random Access Memories, they’ve left a lot to be desired when it comes to public appearances. Even with the release of the Tron soundtrack further back than RAM, there have always been rumors of Daft Punk going on their first tour since 2007. Coachella. The trash fence at Burning Man. Alive 2017. The list goes on.

Who revolutionized dance music the most? And they say Daft Punk – Kayne West

Well, this documentary titled “Daft Punk Unchained” isn’t a coveted appearance by the two superstar DJs but it does go in depth into the successes of their careers with Kayne West, Pharrell Williams, Nile Rodgers, Paul Williams and more describing their experiences working alongside the duo.

We’re wearing these black masks because as Daft Punk, we’re not showing our faces in pictures or in television.

At the very end of the trailer, you see a glimpse of one of the helmeted DJs beginning to remove their helmets. That’s probably the closest you’ll ever get to seeing their faces. Rumor has it when they played at the Grammy’s, they themselves were in the audience with stand in’s on stage. Something to think about.
