[WATCH] Anjunadeep’s Lane 8 Breaks Down His Track ‘UnderCover’

Even before his latest album dropped, Lane 8 warmed our hearts with his Eric Prydz remix along with handfuls of beautiful vocal tunes that have landed him his prize spot on Anjunadeep’s roster. And with his new album, ‘Rise’, out and his tour just around the corner, Lane 8 linked up with the online music production school Point Blank Online to break down how he created the tune ‘Undercover’.

The half hour long video touches on a number of topics beyond the track itself. Lane 8 talks about how he first got into dance music via hip-hop roots and his love for DJ Premier, which then organically lead to figuring out turntables which evolved into dance music. Moving on from there, he breaks down some of his favorite synths and why he loves Ableton’s stock plugins so much.

Make sure to watch the video all the way through, as Lane 8 gives valuable arrangement tips for producers on how to make that final chorus really explode and sound s massive as possible! So watch the video through the link below, or head over to Point Blank Online to explore more online classes in dance music production!
