Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you would know that tropical house is currently one of the hottest genres in dance music. That being said, the best way to stay ahead of the game is to check out some up-and-coming producers before they become the next Kygo or Thomas Jack. Thanks to the Tropikult team, New York City residents are getting the chance to do so, as the collective has organized an event that you won’t want to miss.

Tropikult, which is made up of the Tropikult, The Dancing Pineapple and Miami Beats SoundCloud accounts, is taking over The DL on Friday, July 24th for what will be a night to remember. Deep Chills, Bobby Brush, Instrum and N2N will be spinning some of the smoothest tropical house in existence and the best part is that a portion of the night’s proceeds will go to Music Beats Hearts. The charity gives preloaded iPods to cancer patients, which is a definitely a cause we can get behind. For more information regarding the event, head over here.
