Antony & Cleopatra – Take Me (Option4 Remix)
Seven months ago, option4 released a remix of a Sammy Bananas tune featuring Antony & Cleopatra, that hit the airwaves by storm. Amassing over 123K plays and being released under the Fool’s Gold umbrella, it seemed quite fitting a possible future collaboration would be in the works. Our prayers have been answer this week with a another rework by option4, only this time, it features Antony & Cleopatra as the main creators.
With the original being released last week, Mr. Bryarly has taken this cut and shifted it from one side of the house spectrum to the other. Utilizing an enormously low kick drum, the song is almost drowning in low end, expertly mixed down to make room for those insanely catchy lyrics. Filtering out a few crescendos and transitions, ‘Take Me’ is taken to a whole new level; encompassing the deep and dark atmosphere that has been missing from some house tracks as of late.
