Alison Wonderland – U Don’t Know (Just A Gent Remix)
At just 17 years old, Just A Gent is an Australian producer with tremendous talent. The unique producer classifies his music as “electronic love,” drawing from various genres to create a distinctly euphoric style. The young Aussie recently impressed with ‘Pure Imagination‘, which brilliantly sampled the classic track from Charlie and the Chocolate Factor. Just A Gent has also delivered stellar releases such as his originals ‘Limelight‘ and ‘Warlock Masquerade‘ and his remakes of ‘Superfriends‘ and ‘Best Day Of My Life’. This time, he set out to remix ‘U Don’t Know’, the release off Alison Wonderland’s new album Run.
‘U Don’t Know’ begins with a trippy vocal loop accompanied by orchestral production. Just A Gent immediately succeeds in immersing his listener in a dark yet captivating vibe. As the vocals are introduced, heavy percussion gives the track a driving tempo and momentous buildup. Just A Gent capitalizes on the momentum, delivering a thunderous drop that hesitates with a blaring trap synth before exploding with a powerful dose of future bass.
