Watermät has risen from relative unknown to one of the gem’s of the French house scene, delivering stunning release after stunning release. Last year, the Frenchman delivered what many consider to be the track of the summer in “Bullit,” a stunning house tune that brought back memories of lazy days by the pool. His latest effort is a collaboration with the Germany-based producer,
TAI, who has garnered a loyal following within the hip-hop realm, called “Frequency.”
An early candidate for tune of the summer for 2015, the collaboration is a masterful blend of Watermät’s Ibiza-influenced house stylings and TAI’s signature bass accents. In “Frequency,” the piano-driven melody and blaring horn synths iconic to Watermat’s production are only further bolstered by the bass warps and electro riff brought to the track by TAI. “Frequency” is set to be released on March 30th via Spinnin’ Records, so make sure to buy your copy when it’s out!
