Late Night Alumni – The This This (Kaskade Remix)
Just in case Monday was getting terrible for you, Kaskade has arrived to lighten it up. This remix of Late Night Alumni has an atmospheric quality to it that only he gets right. That’s both a tip on the sound and how much it sounds like some of Kaskade’s more soothing work. This remix is one for relaxed driving, headphones, careful dancing and cuddling. The beat is rounded and deep, infusing the original with a proper, almost techy, vibe while still remaining a tune that I’d drive up the California coast listening to. The second half gives off an almost tango-esque vibe, which is surprising, but totally welcome.
