Armin van Buuren Steps Away From Aliases, Premieres “Panta Rhei” With Mark Sixma

Armin
Trance legend Armin van Buuren is back with a brand new original track. Armin has been experimenting with his other aliases recently, releasing tracks under two of his side projects. The first release was “In Principio” by Gaia, his collaborative effort with Rank 1’s Benno de Goeij. The next release was “Safe Inside You” by Rising Star, his little known alias that dates all the way back to 1999. It seems like Armin is returning to his roots, as he is leaning more towards the pure trance style of his younger days. With his newest release, Armin teamed up with electro trance producer Mark Sixma. Sixma has been on a roll recently, releasing his standout original track “Vendetta” as well as remixes to hit trance tracks like “Adagio For Strings” and “Save My Night.” The two have collaborated on “Panta Rhei” to deliver A State of Trance’s ‘Tune of the Week’.

“Panta Rhei” begins dramatically with an ominous orchestral build. The track then comes to life with explosive synths to highlight its infectious trance melody. The song stays consistent throughout, with high energy that never takes away from the track’s beautiful melody. “Panta Rhei” seems like a natural collaboration between the two artists, displaying Sixma’s energetic and hard-hitting style combined with Armin’s infectious melodies and euphoric vibes. You can purchase the track here along with the rest of the A State of Trance 2015 album.
